Rain from Hurricane Laura had a mixed impact on crops in Tennessee last week. The USDA says that rainfall did bring flooding to low-lying areas in western parts of the state and delayed the dry down of early harvested corn but helped out the corn and soybean crops still in the fields and boosted pasture conditions. Eastern Tennessee also saw rain almost every day last week, but showers were spotty in central parts of the state.
