Friday, September 11 is the final day to sign-up for the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP) through the USDA.
Producers can sign up online or at their local USDA service center.
As of Tuesday, more than $9.7 billion have been paid out or are in review for disbursement to farmers. Nearly 50% of funds have gone to livestock producers, 26% to non-specialty crops including corn, soybeans and cotton, nearly 18% to dairy, 6% to specialty crop growers and less than 1% to Aqua Nursery Flora.
