Direct cash cattle trade has been slow through midday. With more cattle needing to be moved, packer interest will likely increase through the day. Asking prices for cattle left on show lists are coming in above the early part of the week, around $104 to $105 in the South, up about $3 from Wednesday and $163 to $164 dressed in the North. The trend this week has been slight scattered trade on a short market week.
