Wisconsin ag officials have selected fifteen members for their new Agriculture Youth Council. Secretary-designee Randy Romanski says they are excited to engage with these young people to promote agricultural career opportunities, share resources available for farmers, and discuss agricultural policy development. Romanski says, “We’ve got pretty good distribution of students from around the state. Really, a lot of good, interested young people who applied for the program, so it was difficult to get it down to fifteen members.”
Romanski says after initial organizational work, he believes that first meeting will be interesting and informative.
