Drier conditions helped farmers return to fields this past week.  Corn harvest is 12 percent complete and soybean harvest is 2 percent complete.  And while harvest continues, some growers in the western part of the state are waiting for crops to dry down a little more.

Seventy-five percent of soybeans are rated good to excellent with 24 percent dropping leaves.  Cotton is rated 65 percent good to excellent with 29 percent of bolls opening.
