A southern Wisconsin farmer says he’s spending most of his time this week harvesting corn silage, but he won’t have much of a break between harvests.
Doug Rebout farms near Janesville, Wisconsin. “We’ll be working on that here for the better part of this week. Soybeans, it looks like they’re drying up pretty quick so if we get some heat this week, I’ve got a feeling here that within a week and a half here, we might be out combining soybeans.”
Rebout says last week’s rains slowed fieldwork, but he needed the rain.
