Corn rootworm can cost farmers up to a billion dollars in crop damage and control costs annually, and farmers saw increased pressure from the pest in 2020.

Jody Gander, market development manager with Bayer CropScience says if growers had corn rootworm problems this year, they need to be proactive in their plans for the 2021 growing season.  “There are a number of things they can do, one of those is traited corn products such as SmartStax technology,” he says.
