U.S. ethanol production hit a multi-month low last week.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration says production averaged 906,000 barrels a day, down 20,000 on the week and 37,000 on the year, for the lowest weekly average since late June as the uncertainties about blending demand due to COVID-19 and some elements of federal renewable fuels policy continue to impact production.

The Renewable Fuels Association says two demand indicators had fractional week to week changes with the volume of gasoline supplied to the market a little higher and ethanol blender inputs a little lower.
