Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange were slightly higher Wednesday while cash markets were mixed following the cold storage report.
September Class III milk down two cents at $16.25. October three cents higher at $18.45. November up a penny at $18.17. December 13 cents higher at $17.34. January through March contracts one to nine cents higher.
Dry whey up $0.0150 at $0.3850. Two trades were made at $0.3775 and $0.3850.
Blocks down $0.06 at $2.54. One trade was made at that price.
Barrels down $0.0050 at $1.63.
Butter down $0.10 at $1.52. Six trades were made at $1.52 to $1.5375.
