DEKALB Asgrow Technical Agronomist Jordan Arndell says farmers should consider crop performance and weather trends when making decisions for next year.
“I like to look at weather trends for the last 5-10 years and you can compare how this year stacked up to your average year and so if this year was pretty similar to what your ten-year average is then you can look at what products performed really well,” he says.
He tells Brownfield that information can also be used to spread risk if it’s not an average year.
