An ethanol industry leader says there is no such thing as a “zero-emissions” vehicle.
American Coalition for Ethanol CEO Brian Jennings was reacting to news that California Governor Gavin Newsom wants to ban sales of new gas-fueled vehicles and require all new vehicles to be “zero-emission”, by the year 2035.
“There’s really no such thing as an emissions-free or zero-emission vehicle. It just doesn’t exist in reality,” Jennings says.
