The harvest continues in Wisconsin, as limited rains allowed farmers in the fields for most of last week.
Corn silage harvests are from 78% to 95% finished statewide except for northcentral Wisconsin, which is only 39% finished. Southwestern Wisconsin is ahead of the rest in completing corn silage.
Corn for grain is 96% dented, which is 17 days ahead of average and a full month ahead of last year. Wisconsin corn is rated 77% good to excellent statewide.
