Iowa farmers continue to harvest corn and soybeans at a very rapid pace.

The latest crop report shows 25 percent of the state’s corn and 55 percent of soybeans have been harvested. Those percentages are among the highest recorded, for early October, in the last 20 years.

Corn was rated 45 percent good to excellent with soybeans at 49 percent, slight improvements from the previous week.
