At the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, live and feeder cattle ended the day higher on oversold signals ahead of what’s expected to be stronger cash trade.  October live cattle closed $.47 higher at $108.82 and December live cattle closed $.40 higher at $111.22.  October feeder cattle closed $.82 higher at $138.12 and November feeder cattle closed $1.27 higher at $136.82.

Direct cash cattle trade activity picked up a little on Tuesday.  It was another day of light scattered trade, but not near enough to establish a trend.
