A central Missouri farmer says harvest is going well for his team, “We’ve been blessed with this beautiful harvest weather. Quite a few of our guys, myself included, we’re going on five weeks straight now. So things are moving along quickly and coming out fast and that’s good.”

Andy Clay tells Brownfield Ag News his yields are good, all things considered. The dry weather patch at the end of June and early July raised concerns about pollination, “We’re not having any record breaking yields, but pleasantly happy with them.”

Clay says he told his workers harvest will wrap up quickly this year compared to others, “I told them it had been about five years since we had done so they’re full steam ahead and that’s going to be our goal now.
