Warm and dry weather last week helped speed harvest along in Michigan.
The USDA says 82 percent of corn is mature and condition dropped three point to 52 percent good to excellent. Soybeans are 86 percent mature and 42 percent harvested with condition improving two points to 65 percent good to excellent.
As of Sunday, 38 percent of dry beans and 52 percent of sugarbeets were in good to excellent condition.
