Harvest is progressing in Minnesota to the tune of three weeks ahead of normal for soybeans and two weeks ahead for corn.
The latest weekly USDA crop report says as of Sunday 96 percent of the state’s soybean acres are harvested 63 percent of the corn.
Minnesota farmer Jamie Beyer, who grows corn, soybeans and sugarbeets near the northeast corner of South Dakota, spoke to Brownfield Friday.
“We’ve got maybe four days of corn left, beans are in the bin, and one more day of sugarbeets.
