Widespread snow slowed what has been a fast-paced harvest in Minnesota.
The latest weekly crop progress report from USDA says there were fewer than three days suitable for fieldwork last week, the fewest since the week ending April 19th.
Corn harvest is still 10 days ahead of normal at 72 percent complete, with moisture content averaging 17 percent.
The soybean harvest is essentially complete, and southwest Minnesota farmer Bob Worth says his bean yields were average.
