The Michigan Department of Agriculture has announced $6.5 million in grants will be invested in conservation practices throughout the state.

The funds will support 95 grant projects in 57 state Conservation Districts for the 2021 fiscal year. 

Nearly half of the grants and largest portion of the funds will support the Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program.  Others will support the Conservation Technical Assistance Initiative, Forestry Assistance Program, Produce Safety Program, and Phosphorus Initiative.
