The presidential race this morning was called for Joe Biden – by the major news networks. In the fourth day of vote counting, Biden received enough electoral votes to bring him over the 270 needed to win.
National Farmers Union president Rob Larew says the vision President-elect Biden has for America overlaps NFU’s vision in many respects. Larew says the last four years haven’t been to kind to family farmers and ranchers.
He says NFU looks forward to Biden making good on his campaign promises of rejoining the Paris Climate Agreement, providing farmers and ranchers tools they need for climate-smart practices, and revitalizing rural economies.
