The USDA’s latest weekly crop report shows the Minnesota corn harvest at 93 percent complete.
This year’s pace is nearly a month ahead of a year ago and almost two weeks ahead of the five-year average.
Record warmth and not much moisture the first week of November also allowed farmers to work ground and apply fertilizer.
