Wisconsin’s Governor has added another ten million dollars for food security efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Tony Evers announced the additional funds will supply five million dollars to both the Hunger Task Force and Feeding Wisconsin to purchase food for distribution, and for storage and transportation.

So far, the state’s food security initiative has already used 10 million federal coronavirus aid dollars towards food purchases for distribution and another five million to help food banks improve storage and refrigeration facilities.
