Agricultural blockchain firm GrainChain has announced a partnership with credit card and finance company Mastercard to create digital records of commodity data throughout supply chains in the U.S., Mexico, and Central America.
According to a joint news release, the partnership “will deliver end-to-end visibility throughout the supply chain, allowing participants to forensically track commodities, from the initial inputs and raw materials to harvesting and processing and logistics and delivery to the consumer’s hands”.
