COVID cases continue to spike, but the number of those hospitalized with the rona has decreased for a second straight day.
Since midday yesterday, over 43 hundred new cases as the statewide total approaches 206-thousand. 146 new cases in story County, 54 in Marshall County.
One death in Marshall County is among the 32 reported statewide.
Over the past two days, there are 100 fewer patients in Iowa hospitals with the virus. Last night 1,416 spent the night being treated.
