Sandy Chalmers tells Brownfield CFAP 1 & 2 have helped absorb the blow of the pandemic on farm markets. “It is keeping farms viable for the future and it helps pick them up through just an absolutely unprecedented time in American agriculture.”
Chalmers says farmers prefer a good year with good markets, but with the impacts of COVID-19, the CFAP program has been a lifeline.
