Freezes will occur again Wednesday morning in the Southeast, extending as far south as northern Florida. Farther north, snow showers will largely end by mid-week across the lower Great Lakes region and the Northeast. Meanwhile, a disturbance emerging from the Rockies will produce variable amounts of mid-week precipitation across the central and southern Plains. Snow may accumulate, starting late Wednesday, in parts of southern Kansas and northern Oklahoma. Later, rain will return across the South, where 5-day totals could locally reach 1 to 2 inches.
