U.S. ethanol exports shot sharply higher from September to October.
The Renewable Fuels Association says October’s volume of 126.5 million gallons was up 64% from September and was the best month for sales since March.
Canada accounted for more than a quarter of the total, with record demand from the Netherlands and Norway, South Korea taking in their biggest month this year, and solid sales to India and Colombia.
The RFA says October sugar cane ethanol imports from Brazil were 22.5 million gallons.
