Precipitation in the middle and southern Atlantic States will end later Monday. Meanwhile, the Pacific Northwest will receive periods of generally light precipitation, which at midweek will spread as far east as northern sections of the Rockies and High Plains. Mostly dry weather will prevail in other areas of the country.
However, during the mid- to late-week period, precipitation should develop over parts of the Southwest and spread across the Plains, mid-South, and Midwest.
