The US Cotton Trust Protocol has added global apparel retailer Gap, Inc to its list of partners.
Gap, Inc. is working to achieve the use of 100% sustainably sourced cotton across all their brands by 2025. The Trust Protocol says they can help Gap, Inc. meet their goal by providing verified data on the sustainability practices used on US cotton farms.
Gap, Inc says they decided to source cotton through the Trust Protocol as part of their commitment to address climate change and lower their carbon emissions.
