Several of the nation’s top commodity groups, including pork, soybean and corn growers, are concerned that a produce conflict with Mexico could spill over to the commodities they represent.
Their concern stems from a U.S. government investigation of Mexican trade practices related to fruits and vegetables. The commodity groups are afraid the investigation could cause Mexico to take retaliatory measures against U.S. ag and food products.
