The president of the National Association of Wheat Growers is reflecting on a challenging year for growers experiencing covid-related losses.

Dave Milligan, a Michigan farmer, says the wheat industry called on the USDA to include all classes of wheat in the second round of Coronavirus Food Assistance Program payments.  

“Fortunately the USDA was able to see our need and got that covered so that was a help to the wheat growers,” he says.
