South Dakota Corn is being recognized by the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service with the 2019 Excellence in Cooperative Conservation Award. The award recognizes the group’s efforts in improving South Dakota’s natural resources.
“South Dakota Corn has been a valuable part of the state’s ag community,” said Jeff Zimprich, State Conservationist with South Dakota NRCS, quoted in a news release from the agency, “They’ve worked with many organizations including NRCS to help educate and promote the conservation of South Dakota’s natural resources.”
hat work includes South Dakota Corn facilitating on-farm research in soil carbon, water testing and outreach promoting conservation.
