A developing storm system currently crossing the Plains will reach the middle Atlantic Coast late Wednesday.

For the remainder of Tuesday, some of the most significant accumulations of snow will occur in northwestern Oklahoma and portions of neighboring states.

At mid-week, wintry precipitation (snow and sleet) may cause major travel disruptions from the central Appalachians and middle Atlantic States into southern New England. Snow will linger into Thursday across coastal New England.
