A developing storm system currently crossing the Ohio Valley will reach the middle Atlantic Coast late Wednesday. For the remainder of Wednesday, some of the most significant accumulations of snow, albeit light, will occur across parts of the Midwest Corn Belt, but with heavier accumulations in portions of neighboring states to the east. Also, at mid-week, wintry precipitation (snow and sleet) may cause major travel disruptions from the central Appalachians and middle Atlantic States into southern New England.
