2020 could’ve been better for west-central Minnesota farmer Jim Kanten.
“I would say about average overall. We had a few wind events on a few fields that hurt us throughout the year, but overall I’d just say about average.”
Besides the damaging winds, he tells Brownfield the weather was quite favorable this year.
“Much better than we’ve had the last couple years. I was glad to finally have a more normal fall.”
And looking ahead, Kanten says he’s figuring out his crop rotation.
