American Soybean Association CEO Steve Censky is hopeful the new administration will prioritize infrastructure funding.
“We want to make sure rural America doesn’t get behind on that,” he says. “That will involve investing in rural roads and bridges, investing in our inland waterway system, as well as on broadband, which is so important for farmers and rural communities.”
He tells Brownfield it’s critical to have a reliable transportation infrastructure because about sixty percent of US soybean production is exported.
