A coalition of nearly 130 food and ag groups is urging the quick confirmation of Tom Vilsack as US Ag Secretary.
In a letter to the Senate Ag Committee, the coalition endorses Vilsack’s nomination because of his previous experience as Ag Secretary and his vision for meeting the current challenges of food and agriculture.
The food and ag groups say he is ready to meet environmental challenges, enhance diversity, strengthen food security, and build prosperity through expanded trade.
