The Chief Financial Officer of ADM has indicated China is buying significant amounts of US ethanol.
In a statement provided to Brownfield, Ray Young says China has made commitments in the first half of 2021 for US ethanol equal to the all-time calendar year high of around 200 million gallons.
Young says they expect supply and demand balances to strengthen this year, citing the return of Chinese purchases as one major driver.
