The incoming Chairwomen of the Senate Ag Committee says she’s committed to supporting new economic opportunities to address the climate crisis.
“We can provide voluntary, producer-led opportunities for our farmers and foresters that will allow them to continue to cut down emissions and create new sources of income.”

“I certainly will advocate full funding in these areas to support farmers and to support what we want to do,” she says.
