Farm groups are speaking out against the Clean Cars Minnesota proposed rule.
Minnesota Soybean Growers president Jamie Beyer tells Brownfield the EPA is asking states to follow its emission guidelines or those of California.
“So of course the concern of the Minnesota Soybean Growers Association and the other commodity groups is that we’re hitching our wagon to California and their rules, legislation, and whims.”
Beyer provided written testimony during a joint virtual hearing with the Environmental and Natural Resources Finance Committee and Natural Resources Policy and Legacy Finance Committee earlier this month.
