A coalition of more than 250 state and national ag and rural groups are urging President Biden to make rural infrastructure a priority in his Build Back Better in Rural America plan.
The Rebuild Rural Infrastructure Coalition says deteriorating infrastructure in rural areas threatens the country’s position a global agricultural leader and its international competitiveness.
The group says they appreciate the needs addressed by the administration’s plan but also want investment in clean water and quality, affordable housing, broadband, and reliable and secure power.
