More farmers plan to get vaccinated when a COVID-19 vaccine is available, according to the latest Purdue University/CME Group Ag Economy Barometer.
Jim Mintert says the number of farmers planning to get a vaccine has increased over the past few months.
“There’s been a lot of interest about the general population as well as subgroups in the population but we haven’t seen anything that focused specifically on the agricultural sector so we thought it would be interesting to learn more about where ag producers were at,” he says.
