Michigan’s soybean checkoff is planning for a year of change in 2021.

Executive Director Jana Fritz says they’re starting the year with a new name, the Michigan Soybean Committee.

“We have dropped the word ‘promotion,’” she says.  “Of course we still are promoting soybeans in the state, but we also have our research development areas, our market development areas, as well as general communications efforts.”

After nearly a year of working remoting, the organization is also rethinking the needs of a physical office space.
