The coronavirus pandemic influenced resolutions supported by Iowa Pork Producer county delegates during the association’s annual meeting the last week of January.
During the virtual meeting, a resolution was adopted asking Iowa pig farmers to record and maintain their pig movement records with both the source premises and destination premises identification numbers in a format that would be readily available to send to the state veterinarian in the event of a foreign animal disease outbreak.
