The Beef Checkoff is hoping its long-time slogan will resonate with race fans this weekend.

Rex Hoppes with the Iowa Beef Industry Council says the Checkoff has partnered with the Daytona International Speedway to sponsor the 40th season-opening race for the NASCAR Xfinity Series, the Beef.  It’s What’s for Dinner.  300.

“We just have to continue to reach out to touch customers and consumers of American beef, whether that’s here domestically or worldwide.”

He tells Brownfield sponsoring this weekend’s race will improve consumer support and recognition in the marketplace.
