Brazil’s equivalent of the USDA has increased its already record outlooks for that country’s soybean and corn crops because of increased planted area and improvements in weather.

Planting for both beans and corn in Brazil got off to a slow start last year due to dry conditions and while heavy rainfall in parts of the nation have delayed soybean and first corn crop harvest activity and second crop corn planting, the precipitation has mostly beneficial.
