The chair of the Agriculture Committee in the Iowa House says lawmakers have been very busy during the first month of the 2021 Session.

Representative Ross Paustian, a Republican from Walcott, tells Brownfield his chamber moved 25 bills on Wednesday.

“It seems like this is the most bills this early in the session that I’ve seen being pushed on the Floor.”

He’s encouraged by the progress and believes the pandemic is probably behind it.
