Soybeans were higher on fund and technical buying. Contracts bought back part of Wednesday’s losses, supported by solid demand. Weekly export sales were solid, China was the biggest buyer of old and new crop, while it was another strong week for shipments. Most forecasts have more harvest delaying rain in parts of Brazil and dry weather for most of this month in Argentina. Even with those issues, it looks like better weather for most of January did help to boost crop prospects.
