Organizers are planning to have the Iowa State Fair later this year.

CEO Gary Slater tells Des Moines television station KCCI with restrictions related to COVID being lifted by Governor Reynolds, everything is looking well to have the Fair.

He says there could be some changes compared to what the traditional state fair in August looks like, however.

Last year was the first time since World War II the Iowa State Fair has been cancelled.
