The Bobcats gave #2 Waukee all they could handle in Waukee Friday Night. The Bobcats fought hard against the Warriors all night long, but came up just short losing 54-48. Bobcat Junior guard Armionney Thomas played stellar basketball leading all scorers with 24 points. Waukee 6’7″ Senior, Tucker DeVries led the Warriors with 20, and was incredible down the stretch.

The Bobcats lone Senior starter, Isaiah Borgos had 14 points fueled by 4 threes.

After the game, Coach Michael Appel was incredibly proud of the fight his team showed against the bigger, deeper Warriors. Appel says this is just the beginning for the Bobcat program with 80% of the starting lineup coming back.

THE LOSS ENDED THE BOBCATS SEASON WITH 7-14 RECORD.
